The noted bassist Dave Jones leads this singularly funky line up featuring some of the UK’s finest jazz musicians. The show explores Dave's’ arrangements of classic jazz funk, Latin and soul.
Expect a dynamic evening steeped in the blues and soul with spacious grooves and improvisation of the highest level with tunes from George Duke, Patrice Rushen, Angela Bofill, Herbie Hancock and Steve Wonder.
Dave's bass playing in recent years has included his own group Dave Jones’ Nonet, Ronnie Scott’s Soul and Jazz Orchestra, Tom Seals, Brandon Allen and Julian Costello as well as performing with top UK musicians such as Pete Long, Jacqui Dankworth, Frank Griffith and John Etheridge.
With Dave Jones on bass, the super group includes the celebrated vocalist Jacqui Hicks, ”One of the most soulful singers in Britain …” Paul Scott – M.U. Magazine, Mark Ridout, one of the most sought after and creative jazz guitarists in the UK, the illustrious keyboardist Chris Eldred and top drummer Tristan Mailliot along with acclaimed Spanish percussionist Demi Garcia Sabat.
A word about our seating arrangements
We sell tickets as tables for two or four people and banquettes for six.
We also sell tickets for individual seats in rows beside the stage, not at a table. You can also buy individual tickets to add to tables, so you can to buy a table for two and make it up to three by buying an extra ticket, or buy a table for four and make it up to five by buying an extra ticket.
Chiswick Calendar Club Card holders are offered a £2 discount on tickets.
You can order meals, bar snacks and drinks in the Boston Room, before and during the performance. Doors open 7.00 pm. Performance starts 7.30 pm
