Starting at 7:00 PM the band will play swing Standards from Count Basie and Duke Ellington to contemporary charts by Gordon Goodwin Thad Jones and Andrew Neu. The vocalist will sing several arrangements backed by the band. Highlights include the Overture from Ellington's version of the Nutcracker Suite Basie's Jingle Bells Goodwin's Let It Snow and a new composition based on two Dreidel songs.
Jazz 4 Nothin' is a community band comprised of 17 instrumentalists and a vocalist who play for the love of the music. Jazz 4 Nothin' rehearses weekly and welcomes new musicians.
No cover charge. Free parking may be available; low cost municipal parking is available. (The venue is downstairs with no wheelchair access.)
