In partnership with Cafe Koyomi, this event is led by Michelle Chen, founder of Kaeru Tea. To deepen her understanding of Japanese tea, Michelle spent several months living and volunteering on organic tea farms in Japan. Working alongside farmers, she helped to harvest and process tea, gaining firsthand insight into the craft behind Japanese tea.
Michelle has also completed advanced certifications with the Global Japanese Tea Association (Japan), and the Tea Talk Academy (Taiwan). She is also a practitioner of sado, Japanese tea ceremony (table-style).
