About this Event

Description:

Unleash your creative spirit at this fun Make Your Own Journal/ Stab Binding Workshop! You will choose back and front covers, sew your journal by hand, and decorate it to your heart's delight.

Dating back to 1603, this ancient medium was invented in China and popularized by the Japanese (hence its name). Today, folks love the unique & meaningful story behind these one-of-a-kind handmade journals!

Writers & artists use these journals for scrap booking, drawing, & writing! The basic class uses 20-25 lb printer paper for the interior pages, but upgrades such as mixed media or watercolor paper are an option. Just let me know and I can tailor the class for you.

Ergonomic, disability, & child friendly class options available. Beginners are welcome & no experience is necessary. All supplies included.

Masks are welcome: bring your own or request one from me at no additonal cost. If it would make you more comfortable, I am willing to wear a mask the whole time if you request it ahead of time.
