Konnichiwa! The Huntington Children's Museum is pleased to offer a monthlong Japanese camp with teacher Akiko Praylow. The camp will run every Wednesday in March: March 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 3:30-5:30 PM. All children ages 6-8 are welcome. Each student will learn Japanese language, culture, and STEM concepts. By the end of camp, your child will know how to say basic words in Japanese, identify traditional Japanese clothing, make origami, and much more! This camp is an ideal way to enrich your child's home school experience or as a supplement to public or private school education.
Cost for the four classes is $100 per student, with a 10% discount for museum members (note: the 10% discount is not eligible with the Hope Scholarship). Each student and one accompanying adult will have access to the museum on session days. Additional adults and children will need to pay admission or use/purchase an annual membership.
Please note that all class reservations are non-refundable.
Hope Scholarship approved! Hope participants can register through the Hope website.
