Kintsugi, “Golden ceramic restoration” is a century-old Japanese art of repairing broken /cracked pottery using lacquer as glue to put fragments together. The repaired item is then finished with the surface decoration of gold powder transforming it into a new piece of art when otherwise it would be thrown away.
