Jap Truck Diagnostics
AdBlue, DPF, EGR & Fuel System Faults
Let’s face it — Asian truck manufacturers have never been forthcoming with access to information. Yet in Australia, the market share of Fuso, Hino, Isuzu and UD trucks continues to grow and shows no sign of slowing.
In this course, Diesel Help founder and trainer Clinton Brett breaks down the key design features and operating principles of the fuel, air, emissions and aftertreatment systems commonly found on JAP trucks. The focus is on understanding how these systems work together — and why they fail.
Using selected technical bulletins, Clinton demonstrates on- and off-vehicle diagnostic strategies, drawing on Diesel Help test tools, HaynesPro, and Jaltest diagnostics to replicate real-world workshop scenarios.
Participants will learn how to interpret critical data and system functions to accurately diagnose and rectify common faults. The course also covers preventative maintenance strategies Clinton recommends to extend the service life of AdBlue, DPF and engine systems, reducing repeat failures and unnecessary component replacement.
