Candlelight Sound Bath Restorative is just like our Candlelight Restorative Yoga but with the addition of crystal sound bowls played live during class. Crystal bowls are made of quartz and each bowl has a note that coordinates to a chakra. Sound bowls are thought to synchronize brain wave frequencies that bring you into a meditative state, and bring deep relaxation, ease stress and anxiety, help you sleep better and generally reset your mind and your mood. Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. During the long holds of this practice your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. All postures are done on the floor and are held for longer durations with an emphasis on support and comfort. Relaxing breath techniques and meditations can be used. The class uses bolsters, blankets, and blocks to prop students in the passive poses. $20 drop in or your class pass
