About this Event
Wednesday January 29th please join Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures for an informational class about backpacking. Denise and Lorraine will discuss the gear, getting started and what to expect on the trail. Participants will also have the opportunity to try on a loaded backpack. You’ll be prepared to join a Dirty Girl Adventures Backpacking trip after this class.
Suggestions for local trails that would provide a good first experience will be shared. Participants will leave with a good understanding of backpacking gear ranging from beginner to more advanced including a basic gear list to take home.
The class will allow for questions and discussion.
