"Grumpy Old Men" is a screwball comedy starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau. The story follows two life-long rivals and neighbors, John and Max, who live alone in their homes in a cold Minnesota town since their wives have died. They have a contemptuous rivalry that goes back over 50 years. The story takes a hilarious turn when a beautiful, free-spirited woman moves in down the street from them, and they compete for her attention.
