Everyone is invited to attend our monthly community potluck! Bring a dish to share if you are able. If you can also bring your own plate/silverware/cup you will help us to create less waste! (If you don't have them, we provide supplies.)If you or someone you know is in need of a hot meal please come on in and eat, you don't have to bring anything!! There is always plenty of food!
Doors open at 5:30 and dinner starts at 6:00. This evening's presentation will be from Kieran Roe, the executive director of Conserving Carolina. Kieran will provide a summary of the mission of Conserving Carolina, with a special focus on its history and work in and near Cedar Mountain.
A little about Conserving Carolina: "With your help, Conserving Carolina is creating new parks, trails, and greenways. We’re protecting mountains, foothills, rivers, and farms—over 50,000 acres so far. We’re restoring woods, meadows, and wetlands. We’re engaging people in volunteer work, hikes, outings, field trips, speaker series, native plant gardening, and more."
So come out to meet some of your neighbors and learn about the work Conserving Carolina does!
