Please join us for or our January Guild birthday bash--the first general membership meeting of 2026. This will be an in-house presentation given by Secretary Perky Ramroth and I on the origins of the History Guild. We will give a hyper-speed version of how a few dedicated Daly City lay historians came together to form the organization that is now celebrating its 44th year. We will then show some silent home movie footage from the 1970s filmed by the late Knud Knudsen, a longtime Crocker neighborhood resident; it depicts renovations at Lincoln and Hillside parks in the Crocker and Hillside neighborhoods and is filled with cameos of local politicians of the day. Treasurer Rich Rocchetta remembers those goings-on and will narrate. This is indeed a wonderful historic gem to behold.
Raffle and light refreshments conclude the afternoon.
