First meeting of the new year, 2025. All are welcome to attend. This will be the first meeting with the new board members. Plans for the new year will be outlined and this will be an opportunity for members to present their wishes for possible Club activities in 2025. Our guest speaker this month will be Mike Malterre, the Executive Vice President of Stream2Sea.
Mr. Malterre, who lives in Hawaii, will be presenting remotely. His presentation will be on how most sunscreens and personal products on the market are toxic to the marine ecosystem and how Stream2Sea has developed reef safe products.
Although Mr. Malterre is presenting remotely, there is no system for members to attend remotely since this is an in-person meeting.
The Club business part of the meeting will commence at 7PM sharp, so come early (6:30 or sooner) to order food and socialize before the meeting is called to order.
