Start your new year out right and join us on January 25th at 3:00 pm for the Northwest Yarns & Mercantile Book Club! We will be starting off the year with a little bit of horror by reading Taaqtumi: An Anthology of Arctic Horror Stories. Taaqtumi is an Inuktitut meaining "in the dark," and this collection of short stories by writers in the North explore the dark in the Arctic with stories of mysterious doors, zombies, post-apocalyptic communities and more. Featuring award-winning authors such as Richard Van Camp, Rachel and Sean Qitsualik-Tinsley, Aviaq Johnston, Taaqtumi has been on our reading list for awhile now. We hope you will read it and enjoy it, too!
