January Book Club News! After taking December off, our Bethel Book Club is getting ready to meet again on Wednesday, January 28th, at 1 p.m. in the Omer Lay classroom next to the Sanctuary. We'll be discussing Abraham Verghese's novel, Cutting for Stone. A national bestseller from the author of The Covenant of Water," this book is a beautifully written, page-turning family saga of Ethiopia and America, doctors and patients, exile and home.
If you've decided that you'd like to read more in 2026, and you enjoy discussing good books with other book-lovers like yourself, this is a great opportunity to be a part of a fun group of readers! Everyone is welcome, and you don't have to attend Bethel to join us. Bring a friend, and we'll see you on January 28th!
