✨Join Flaunt It Movement & Corner Commons for our 2024 Community Arts Festival! Flaunt-It will be hosting an Artist Showcase and Small Business/Vendor Market featuring only women, femmes, non-binary artists, and entrepreneurs from Jane-Finch (both past and current residents). ✨
Join us for an FREE and more! ALL works will be centred around community, navigating space and our experiences with understanding our sense of belonging.
THE COMMUNITY ARTS FESTIVAL EVENTS 🎉
DAY 1 - ARTIST SHOWCASE - FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 - The Artist Showcase will present back-to-back performances all afternoon, featuring the talent raised here in Jane-Finch!
DAY 2 - SMALL BUSINESS / VENDOR MARKET - FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 - Surrounded by small businesses, exclusive sales and discounts will be available for their in-person sales!
- TIME: 3:00 - 7:00 PM (Both Days)
- LOCATION: Jane-Finch Mall Parking Lot (Across FRESHCO)
- ADMISSION: FREE (RSVP FOR FULL EXPERIENCE)
🎟 Do I Have To RSVP?
FOR THE FRIDAY (20TH) ARTIST SHOWCASE — All guests must RSVP in order to access the full benefits of the festival. All pre-registered guests will receive a couple of tickets upon entering. Guests may RSVP in-person as well.
Guests will get tickets to redeem goodies from the weekend festival such as getting free food (from local caterer, Makayla Makes and prints at our photobooth! )👀 Walks in are welcomed for the Small Business Market, but RSVP's are highly encouraged and appreciated.
By donating to the Flaunt It Movement, you are helping our grassroots youth-led organization continue to provide high-quality arts opportunities and resources for youth in underserved communities, starting with Jane-Finch.
📍About Corner Commons
Corner Commons is a temporary public space located at the southeast corner of the Jane/Finch intersection in the parking lot of the Jane Finch Mall. It’s a free and accessible space created with, by, and for the Jane-Finch community. Everyone is welcome to have a seat, hang out, and enjoy the outdoors!
