Step into the world of Jane Austen, where romance is restrained, wit is sharp, and a single glance can mean everything.
This is not a passive evening—it is a play-your-part theatre soirée. Together, we will bring Austen’s world and the rules of Regency romance to life, placing them boldly on stage and thinking of how these fare in the 21st century.
Expect an evening that is:
* Witty, romantic, and delightfully improper
* Inspired by Austen’s novels and characters
* Full of monologues, short scenes, songs, poetry, and theatrical surprises
* Laughter is guaranteed—polite laughter, scandalous laughter, and everything in between.
If you are interested in performing, please get in touch. While places cannot be guaranteed for all, we are particularly keen to include live musical performances and instrumentalists.
Regency attire is warmly encouraged but entirely optional. Feel free to come in full period costume, a modern outfit with a Regency-inspired touch, or simply as you are.
Whether you arrive as an observer or a participant, come prepared for an evening of romance, mischief, and theatrical delight—all with a distinctly Austenian twist.
For seating, there will be 6 cosy tables for upto 4 people on the floor, along with spacious theatre seating for 35 people to book individually.
The 'ticket prices' are our suggested donation for this fantastic evening!
The tables will be for max. 4 people and your donation will include a bottle of red or white for the table, depending on your preference on the day. The rest of the seating is open.
