Jammy Pack, Asheville’s grass-roots jam-tribe, is an emerging sonic experience honoring roots music like funk, jazz, bluegrass, and rock and roll with fresh improvisation and playful exploration. Influences like Ween, Phish, Aquarium Rescue Unit, and the Allman Brothers Band have inspired the ever-rotating members to have passionate, intentional relationships with their instruments that express a reverence for the unique and beautiful nature of music. With the fluidity and motion between songs, Jammy Pack’s number one goal is to submerge the audience in an experimental space where the collective unconscious is able to roam free.
