James Merriwether is an entity of questionable character with a penchant for experimental folk songs who occasionally inhabits the body of recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, and Verdin Brother, Peter Verdin, to perform deranged acoustic roots music. On March 14th, James/Peter will be performing two sets of music at the Battery Café, featuring selections from the critically acclaimed albums Arcana, Endless Night on the River Dirge, and Old Ghosts in Fresh Graves (Songs I Found in a Hole), along with a slew of new compositions. Support for the second set is provided by Seán Bradley, Charlie Graham, and Julien Bouchard. Music starts a 7!

Our max capacity is 35 so larger groups (>3 people) should purchase tickets well ahead of time. Walk-ins may be available on the day of the show - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm.
Our Kitchen closes at 3:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00.
Please arrive at least 15 mins early to get seated and avoid the rush. Groups of 3 or more will be assigned a table; free seating for singles and couples. Please check in with our staff before seating yourself.
Seats will be held for 30 mins after the show start, after which they may be given to walk-ins. Tickets can also be transferred - login to https://locarius.io/.
