The celebrity chef and TV presenter James martin is heading back on the road with his all new live tour for 2025 and will be stopping off at The Forum in Bath on Tuesday 4 March 2025. Tickets are available now at https://ticketmaster-uk.tm7559.net/q4jeAg.Following four sell-out tours James Martin Live will see the popular TV chef and best-selling author visiting 20 amazing venues across England, Scotland and Wales, combining the perfect ingredients of mouth-watering dishes with his warm Yorkshire wit.
Previous tours have seen James build the ‘biggest and best bacon and cheese butty’, perform ‘surgery’ on a Barbie doll to create a Baked Alaska, invite audience members to show off their tattoos and pick up his guitar to perform live.
For 2025 expect new recipes and even more entertaining tales as James teaches everyone the tips, tricks and skills needed to whip up a sensational dining experience while sending them wild with desire, sprinkled with a generous portion of comedy, as he rustles up heavenly dishes live on stage.
Born in 1972 in North Yorkshire, James Martin is a celebrity chef and popular TV presenter. His passion for cooking began at a young age when his father became the catering manager at York’s Castle Howard. Trips to France as a teenager also fanned the flames of Martin’s appreciation for fine food and wine.
In 1988 he began catering training at Scarborough Technical College, where he was named Student of the Year for three years in a row. After moving to London in 1991, Martin found himself working in some of the city’s top kitchens including One Ninety Queen’s Gate, Alastair Little in Soho and Harvey’s in Wandsworth. He also landed coveted positions as a junior pastry chef at Chewton Glen in 1993 and head chef at Hotel Du Vin in 1994.
Martin first began his TV career in 1996 with Sky One and then went over to BBC’s Ready Steady Cook and The Big Breakfast. Today he is best known as the former host of BBC’s popular cooking show Saturday Kitchen. Since moving to ITV in 2016, he has presented James Martin's American Adventure, Saturday Morning With James Martin and James Martin's French Adventure.
In October 2020, Martin held his first-ever livestream cookery masterclass. During the 90-minute interactive experience, he taught participants how to prepare a mouth-watering three-course meal while sharing tips, tricks and skills.
In May 2021, the James Martin Live tour was announced, followed by two sell-out runs in 2022 and 2023. In 2024, Martin announced the next leg of his James Martin Live tour - bringing him back on the road in 2025. The tour will bring Martin's "mouth-watering dishes and warm Yorkshire wit" to venues throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
