THE DEATHLESS AND THE DYING The focus will be on illusion as the middle way between the familiar binary opposites of birth and death, health and sickness, life as flow, loss and grief. James Low, a disciple and teacher in the Byangter and Khordong lineages of the late Chhimed Rigdzin Lama, will share insights into life as flow, loss and grief, focusing on illusion as the middle way between the familiar binary opposites of birth and death, health and sickness. Having begun studying and practising Tibetan Buddhism in India in the 1960's, James Low received teachings from masters including Kalu Rinpoche, Chatral Rinpoche, Kanjur Rinpoche, and Dudjom Rinpoche. He served as a translator and close disciple to his root teacher, Chhimed Rigdzin Lama, and also received teachings and guidance from Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche.
