Photographer James Balog's Extreme Ice Survey began in December 2006 in an attempt to document global warming in the act by using 72 time-lapse cameras at several dozen glacier sites. 1.5 million frames were captured revealing dramatic glacier recession and collapse worldwide. Chasing Time is Balog's latest film which reveals not only his life's work but brings into question his own mortality. Following the film, Balog will be joined on-stage with filmmaker Sarah Keo for a Q&A about the film.This event is part of the Fire and Ice Symposium.
