Quad games! Bring your own team quads tournament 2 girl minimum. If you haven't watched Squid Games we highly recommend you watch both seasons and The Squid Game Challenge before the tournament.
$25 per player, 5 game guarantee.
Rules of participation:
Clause 1: A player is not allowed to stop playing.
Clause 2: Expect the unexpected.
Clause 3: There will only be one guy and one girl who will reach 1st place! Cash payout to 1st, 2nd, and the 3rd place team.
If we have enough teams to have a lower, 1st will receive a free entry to a future JAM sand tournament and t-shirts and 2nd will receive t-shirts.
Quad game t-shirts will also be available to purchase for $22.00 at the tournament.
Pool play followed by the tournament:
Prior to each game in pool play and tournament teams will participate in a challenge where they have the opportunity to gain an advantage and/or avoid a disadvantage.
Example: Play a round of marbles. The winning team gets to decide who serves game point, they get to choose the server until the game is ended. If the game hasn't ended they will alternate between choosing a server from their own team and from their opponents.
For the 1st round of tournament, instead of odd or even or rock paper scissors the higher seed will choose one of the 5 games from the 6 leg race from Season 2 to decide serve, side, or receive. The 5 games are:
Ddakji: A game where players throw envelopes
Flying Stone: A game where players throw stones to knock over a tombstone-like stone
Gong-gi: A game where players catch pebbles or plastic stones with their hands
Spinning Top: A game where players wrap a cord around a top and throw it so it spins
Jegi: A game where players kick a shuttlecock-like object five times in a row with their feet or ankles
****Show up at 3:30 to play a round of Red Light, Green light before the tournament. Weather permitting this will be on the outdoor court area. The winner will gain a secret advantage they can use in the tournament portion of this event. They may or may not want to share the details of the advantage with their team. The 1st person to volunteer will be the caller. Do not have to play to volunteer. The caller will receive a free Quads Game t-shirt.
