About this Event

A brand new monthly comedy night, where award-winning comedian Jacob Hawley invites you to watch him improve himself (thus improving yourself and your evening) as he works out new material with a special guest each month.

JACOB HAWLEY

'The distinctly millennial rising star of the Edinburgh Fringe’ (New Statesman) is the presenter and creator of BBC Sounds’s Jacob Hawley: On Drugs and Jacob Hawley: On Love. The series charted 12th in the Uk Top Podcast charts, and earned him an ARIA (Audio & Radio Industry Awards) 2020 Silver Award for Best New Presenter and Bronze for New Voice Award at the Audio Production Awards (APAs), sponsored by Audible.

Jacob is also the creator and star of BBC Radio 4’s Welcome to Britain, a solo show based on his critically acclaimed debut stand-up hour Howl, with a follow up based on his second, sell out Edinburgh show Faliraki airing in 2021.

“As adept with a quick punchline as he is a deeply personal story” Sunday Post

“Already shaping up as a must-see staple in the years to come” List

SARA BARRON

Edinburgh Comedy Awards Nominee and star of Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie to You, and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, Sara Barron returns with a blistering hour of standup. Guilt, desire, smart sex, dumb kids, conception, rejection and wine in a can. These are the targets in a show that asks: Where is the space for self-preservation in the sentence “Family is everything”?
