Jacksonville Employer Overview of Complimentary WIOA Partner Services

Please join us on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025 from 2:30-3:30PM for an overview of Jacksonville local area’s WIOA Partners complementary resources available to employers.

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) offers employers a range of services designed to help them recruit, train, and retain a skilled workforce. Through WIOA, employers can access customized training programs, workforce development resources, and financial incentives, such as tax credits and wage subsidies, to support the hiring and training of new employees. Additionally, WIOA provides employers with valuable support in workforce planning, job placement, and access to a network of job-seeking talent, including underrepresented populations and individuals with barriers to employment. These services are tailored to meet the unique needs of businesses, helping them stay competitive and thrive in a dynamic labor market.

You will get to know your direct contacts that service your local area, and learn about how we can assist your business. Employers will present on their services within the first half hour, and the second half hour will be open for questions
