Johnny Dawson, singer-songwriter from Los Angeles released their EP “when you’re around” and performed it in its entirety at the end of 2023. Dawson released their first two singles back in 2021 and has been on the rise in the LA music scene, performing along side many establishing artists. Dawson delivers incredibly vulnerable and emotionally charged songs that stems on love, loss, self-reflection, and religion. Dawson loves to showcase how versatile their style is between every song they do and are also considered to be a tone expert and has performed and tracked lead guitar for many artists, projects, and experiments with ambient music. Currently, Dawson is finishing up their second EP “After Hours”, produced by Michael Simon Armstrong, which is set to release in 2024.
"we shrunk" is an LA-Based Folk-Rock band fronted by the duo of Brooke Tannehill and Pearce Gronek. Shortly after meeting in Summer 2022, Brooke and Pearce started the band as a recording project. Their debut EP followed a year after the band's conception. Since the release of their EP, "we shrunk" has seamlessly welcomed more members to create a fully fleshed out live act, and has been playing around LA for the last 6 months. Their sound is a perfect intersection of Brooke and Pearce's respective musical worlds, resulting in a sound that blends unconventional lyricism with dizzy guitar compositions. Calling their trademark genre "Shrunk Rock", their influences are broad and make for music that many listeners can find a home in.
