The 49th annual Jack Williamson Lectureship will take place April 9 - 11 with Guest of Honor Ursula Vernon along with a number of other writers, readers, researchers, friends, and fans. This event will include an author reading, author and academic panel discussions, a luncheon, a Cantina Carnival and costume contest, a writer's workshop, a non-fiction forensic science presentation, and more.Ursula Vernon, also known as T. Kingfisher, has written more than 50 novels of horror, fantasy, fantasy romance, and middle-grade fantasy. She’s also the creator of the epic webcomic “Digger”. Her most recent publications include the dark fantasy "Snake-Eater", "Nine Goblins: A Tale of Low Fantasy and High Mischief", "Hemlock & Silver", and "Wolf Worm", a southern gothic horror novel due out on March 24. Her works have won the Locus, Hugo, and Nebula awards. Ursula currently lives in New Mexico with her husband, her garden, and his chickens.
