Join us at Attollo HQ for a Professional Development Series session with Jack Crowley, President of Water Street Mission.
Jack has spent more than 30 years at Water Street Mission — starting as a youth camp counselor, including his first summer living in the mission dorm alongside male guests, and rising to lead the organization as its President since 2015. Under his leadership, Water Street has grown into a comprehensive wraparound services agency serving Lancaster's most vulnerable neighbors through emergency shelter, residential programs, health care, food access, early childhood education, teen mentoring, and more.
Jack took the helm during a pivotal moment and chose to rebuild with intention — deepening the organization's commitment to walking with each guest on an individualized journey toward restoration, not just providing short-term shelter. His decade of leadership has been marked by honesty about the realities of homelessness and poverty, a willingness to show up personally (including spending 24 hours on a bench to raise awareness), and a conviction that real change happens through relationships.
In this session, Jack will share what it means to lead a mission-driven organization, how to stay grounded over a long career of service, and what young people can learn from a life spent showing up for others.
