The Butt Drama Circle Christmas Panto!When the evil Baron (Christopher Quinn) and Baroness Tightfist (Sarah Mulholland) raises the taxes yet again in the Ye Ould Village of Feytown, poor village boy Jack (Céalan McMenamin) and his Mother (Kevin McGranaghan) have no option but to sell their only cow Buttercup.
Unfortunately, Jack meets a mysterious Traveller and swaps Buttercup for a handful of beans. Fortunately, they're magic and grow a beanstalk up to Cloudland. Unfortunately, there's an Ogre (Dean Gillespie) up there. Jack climbs the beanstalk hoping he can find fortune enough to pay their taxes and marry the Baron’s daughter Lucy (Nicole Laverty) aided by her Maid (Katie Lucas)
All the much-loved characters are here including Fairy Moonbeam (Grace Quinn) who is tasked to control 4 mischievous Brownies from spoiling the Panto. The Brothers Grimm (Kris McCallion & Joshua Duffy) prowl the village looking for another story to add to their collection. The Ogre’s Housekeeper (Megan Roberts) and even Robin Hood (Clive Heapes) makes an appearance when his Pantomime was cancelled in the neighbouring town due to the theatre being closed for repair.
A new look at an old favourite, with some highly entertaining and surprising twists. Packed with songs, slapstick, silliness, audience participation for the whole family and all the fairytale magic of traditional pantomime!
