💫 What to expect:
1️⃣ WZF Debrief
We’ll go through what happened, unpack any questions, and after hearing from the judges in the after meeting, we'll discuss their thoughts on the competitions.
2️⃣ Foundations… with a touch of Spice 🌶️
From the judges’ feedback, it was clear that many dancers didn’t show their Zouk foundations strongly enough, often adding too much too soon without first proving clarity, timing and control. In this exercise, we go back to basics - then explore when and how to add flavour so your dancing shines because of your technique, not instead of it.
3️⃣ Followers Take Over 👑 (Can't wait for this one!!)
ALL the podium-placing followers weren’t just following - they were shaping the dance and influencing it boldly. In this fun round, followers take the lead, make strong suggestions, and challenge leaders to adapt on the spot - teaching you how to stand out and co-create real energy on the floor.
4️⃣ Zouk Ring of Fire 🔥
A ticking-clock, high-energy circle challenge where you complete a checklist of moves under pressure. Forces creativity, direction, and quick thinking - Plus its hilarious to watch!
5️⃣ Battles & Spotlights
Optional rounds with live feedback. Learn how tiny differences, presence, and foundations can make or break your score.
Walk out knowing exactly what to work on next.
