About this Event
The Rites of Passage Program (ROP) is a leadership acceleration experience for Twin Cities high-achieving male high school juniors and seniors of African descent. It is an experiential, mentor enhanced program that helps young boys transition to manhood through focus on self-knowledge, achievement and leadership in ways unique to the Initiates' African heritage.
ROP is sponsored by the Minneapolis Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and is an intensive program in which the Initiates participate in developmental workshops, bond through a retreat, perform community service and fundraise for local and national charities.
