About this Event
Tina Freeland teaches Iyengar Yoga classes at Woodlands for People of Colour. The classes have been generously subsidised by Iyengar Yoga UK.
The POC Yoga class has been set up to be a supportive space specifically for People of Colour who seek respite from a white dominated society. The teacher reserves the right to refuse entry, for the purpose of maintaining that aim and also for her own safety and that of participants.
Iyengar yoga is also accessible to people of all abilities because of its use of props – such as foam bricks, blocks, belts and even chairs, that enable the practitioner to experience the essence of each asana no matter their physical capability.
All equipment is provided as part of the class. This event is open to all People of Colour aged 18+
