Join MSAND for our International Women’s Day Networking Night, bringing together inspiring women across healthcare to share their journeys, insights, and experiences navigating medicine and leadership.
This year’s theme is “Give to Gain.” We want students to walk away with something tangible - meaningful conversations, real connections, and a clearer sense of the many directions a medical career can take. From clinical practice to leadership, research, advocacy, and innovation, this evening is about seeing what’s possible beyond the traditional path.
The event will begin with a panel discussion featuring women leaders from across the healthcare sector, including leaders in medicine and Aboriginal health. The panel will explore topics such as barriers to healthcare access for women, mentorship, representation in medicine, and how strong professional networks can open doors throughout your career.
After the panel, stick around for relaxed networking with speakers and guests - a chance to meet clinicians, alumni, and professionals working across different areas of healthcare.
🌱 Open to all students, and especially valuable for those in pre-clinical years who are curious about what life after graduation can look like and how to start building connections early.
💜 In light of the theme “Give to Gain,” all proceeds from the event will be donated to the charity We Are WM.
