On Saturday, October 12, 2024, Ivy Vine Charities will host our annual 5K Walk for Breast Cancer at the Wheaton Regional Park in Silver Spring, Maryland. Each year, the local community in Montgomery County, Maryland comes together to make an impact towards ending breast cancer.

Ivy Vine Charities, Inc.’s annual 5K Walk for Breast Cancer provides resources and education on healthy living for breath cancer prevention, for empowerment for those diagnosed with breast cancer, and for support for breast cancer survivors. This year, IVC is partnering with Theta Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the African American Health Program, Silver Spring (MD) chapter of Links Incorporation and other community partners. This event supports breast cancer awareness and supports those living with and survivors of breast cancer.
