About this Event
Join swelt to celebrate the release of a new single!
swelt formed in Bristol in 2019. Chris Hicks and Reuben Brunt (both formerly of Talons) were inspired to play more quietly dynamic music. They formed a friendship with Alex Holsgrove over a mutual love of Big Thief. The three started playing together in late 2019, joined by Anthony Brown in 2021. The band wrote and recorded music intermittently throughout the pandemic and began gigging at the Louisiana in Bristol. The band are due to release new music in October and will celebrate with a show at the Ivy House.
