ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Walt Lafty:
Singer-songwriter Walt Lafty fronted the band Silvertide as a teenager. At first, the band was signed by J Records, and they released their first EP American Excess in 2002. Their first full album, Show and Tell, was released in 2004 and produced by David Ivory. After completion of their debut album in 2003, Silvertide hit the road and toured straight until 2006, most notably in support of Van Halen, Velvet Revolver, Mötley Crüe and Alter Bridge. The band also performed on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Walt has since established himself as a top notch solo artist and songwriter. His latest efforts once again team him in the studio with producer David Ivory.

Maro DēLo
Maro DēLo is a pop-rock crossover singer-songwriter guitarist. His long-time interest in blues, rock and pop music has fueled his white-hot passion for songwriting and composing stories that make his audience feel less alone and more heard. Maro’s sit-down-conversational approach to his songs enables him to give listeners a sense of humility and empowerment through his storytelling lyrics and compositions. Maro dropped singles monthly and will be releasing more throughout 2022.The singles will also be collectively released as an album.

Skylar Love:
Skylar Love is an emerging artist that hails from Doylestown PA. You really can't put a title to her style it’s a mix of singer/songwriter meets indie pop rock with a whimsical dark twist. She is a unique talent with music that is energetic, compelling and passionate with the ability to speak to the heart with her expressive and moving lyrics. She got her start at the age of 11 teaching herself the keys to write her own music and then teaching herself the guitar as well, now she is playing full shows at venues and festivals.
November 2019 at age 14 she won the School of Rock Center Stage contest with Atlantic Records. After a private showcase in front of major A & R Reps at The Roxy Theatre and studio time at APG Studios where she recorded her first EP and while in the studio she said, “I want to do this for the rest of my life."
In early 2020, Skylar released a two song EP, “5pm in L.A.” along with her latest six song EP "Hey, Call Me." released on Oct 31, 2020. In 2021 you can now hear her on radio stations in Canada, U.S., Japan, U.K, and Australia. Her single "Drunk on Love, High on Emotion" was a Semi-Finalist in the 2021 International Song Competition. Skylar is currently working on more material and will be back in the studio soon and continues to perform live. This 16-year-old has a bright musical future ahead of her so keep an eye out for the name Skylar Love.

DAVID IVORY / PRODUCER + HOST:
With over 35 years in the music industry, Grammy-nominated recording engineer David Ivory has seen it all. He has engineered and produced several Gold- and Platinum-selling albums, designed and built four recording studios from the ground up and teaches audio production and recording techniques at the college level. Another real talent David possesses is discovering and cultivating new talent and helping those artists grow as artists as performers and songwriters. He was instrumental in bringing mainstream attention to bands such as Silvertide and Halestorm, who were signed to J Records and Atlantic Records, respectively.
At a time when new bands are popping up every day on the internet, “David Ivory Presents” is focused on the best of what the region has to offer. Just as it provides young bands and established artists with a valuable opportunity for exposure, the show also gives real music lovers a chance to discover just how much talent there is right in their own backyards.
