Northern Lights is our community’s winter holiday celebration, featuring a calendar of festive, heartwarming events perfect for people of all ages. Festivities kick off the first week in December with the Northern Lights Opening Weekend, a community celebration featuring the Tahoe Film Fest, Diamond Peak Ski Resort opening day & party, North Tahoe Community Choir concerts, Reno Jazz Orchestra, LTS Holiday Markets, Brunch with Santa, and the annual Northern Lights Community Celebration at UNR at Lake Tahoe’s Prim Library.
Followed by IVCBA Jingle & Mingle Holiday Shopping Day, Tahoe Philharmonic Messiah, Holiday lightshows, Holiday events, and New Year's Eve Festivities.
