Anche quest' anno un appuntamento imperdibile con International Uilleann Piping Day in Italia!31 Oct-1-2 Nov 2025!!!
I maestri Jimmy O'Brien Moran (el Presidente 😉) alle uilleann pipes e Martin Dowling al fiddle saranno in concerto alla meravigliosa Biblioteca Classense e terranno classes del loro strumento, sessions e convivialitá durante tutto il weekend!
PROGRAMMA
VENERDÌ 31 OTTOBRE:
- Dalle ore 15:00 circa saremo nella sala multimediale dedicata ai giovani della Biblioteca Classense, dove presenteremo le uilleann pipes e svolgeremo l'iniziativa "try the pipes".
- Alle ore 17:00 ci sarà il concerto dei maestri nella bellissima Sala Dantesca della Biblioteca
- Seguirà una breve cena assieme e la session musicale serale presso il Mama's Club dalle ore 21:00 circa.
SABATO 01 NOVEMBRE (IUPD):
- La giornata sarà dedicata allo studio delle uilleann pipes e del fiddle con i maestri. Faremo un paio d'ore alla mattina ed un paio d'ore al pomeriggio (10:00-12:00/ 15:00-17:00) di classes, intervallate da un breve pranzo assieme. Il luogo delle lezioni sarà il C.S.A. Spartaco di Ravenna. Chiederemo a ciascun partecipante un contributo di euro 30,00 per autofinanziare i corsi.
- Alle ore 20:00 cena assieme seguita da session musicale presso Mac Gowan Pub di Ravenna
DOMENICA 02 NOVEMBRE:
- Alle ore 12:30 pranzo dei saluti presso Mac Gowan Pub di Ravenna.
Speriamo davvero di ritrovarvi tutte e tutti assieme in questa nuova bella occasione per condividere musica e amicizia.Ringraziamo di cuore già da ora tutti coloro che hanno voluto sostenere questa iniziativa con il loro contributo e il loro impegno. Grazie all' Associazione 50& Più di Ravenna, nella persona del Presidente Ottavio Righini, per aver sponsorizzato i voli dei maestri, grazie alla Biblioteca Classense per ospitare l'evento cardine del weekend e grazie a Mama's Club, Mac Gowan Pub e C.S.A. Spartaco di Ravenna per accoglierci nei loro spazi.

October 31, November 1, and 2, 2025!!!
Maestros Jimmy O'Brien Moran (the President 😉) on the uilleann pipes and Martin Dowling on the fiddle will be performing at the wonderful Classense Library and will be holding classes on their instrument, sessions, and socializing throughout the weekend!
PROGRAM
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31:
- Starting around 3:00 PM, we'll be in the Classense Library's multimedia youth room, where we'll present the uilleann pipes and host the "Try the Pipes" initiative.
- At 5:00 PM, there will be a concert by the maestros in the Library's beautiful Sala Dantesca.
- This will be followed by a short dinner and an evening music session at Mama's Club starting around 9:00 PM.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1 (IUPD):
- The day will be dedicated to studying the uilleann pipes and the fiddle with the maestros. We'll have a couple of hours of classes in the morning and a couple of hours in the afternoon (10:00 AM-12:00 PM and 3:00 PM-5:00 PM), interspersed with a short lunch together. The lessons will take place at the C.S.A. Spartaco in Ravenna. We will ask each participant for a contribution of €30.00 to self-finance the courses.
- At 8:00 PM, dinner followed by a music session at Mac Gowan Pub in Ravenna
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2:
- At 12:30 PM, farewell lunch at Mac Gowan Pub in Ravenna.
