The play will show at 3pm (for residents & family) & 7pm (open to public). Admission is a free-will offering at the door—cash only please. Iowa City and Coralville actors will grace the Forum Theater stage with their performance of It’s a Wonderful life: A Live Radio Play as a stage adaptation of the beloved 1946 Frank Capra film, reimagined as a live 1940’s-style radio broadcast. The play is set inside a radio studio where a group of actors gather to perform It’s a Wonderful Life on the air. The audience in the theater becomes the “studio audience,” watching the actors voice multiple characters, create sound effects, and read commercials—all in real time. Performances will last approximately 60 minutes.
