An evening of music, song, readings and poetry of the Second World War with an Act of Remembrance. With the Wilton Royal British Legion Band and the Nadder Valley Remembrance Choir.
"In the Shadow of War" commemorates the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and remembers those who fell during the six fateful years 1939 - 1945. It is the sequel to our acclaimed 2018 concert "They Went to War" 1914-1918 which commemorated the centenary of the end of the First World War.
In aid of two locally based national charities ACE SMA supporting children with spinal muscular atrophy and REACT DISASTER RESPONSE supporting the vulnerable in the wake of disasters.
