About this Event

Your binges are your body's way of crying out for help, begging to be loved. If you've been struggling with emotional eating and obsessive thoughts of food, you don't need another diet, just a change of attitude. The problem causing your weight issue is not what you're eating. It's what's eating you. Stress!

Perhaps like me, life has dealt you some wicked mean challenges. Toxic relationships, losses, work and money issues, family drama, not being respected, valued or appreciated. These circumstances can make you feel hungry. All. The. Time. Dieting and depriving yourself of the food you love is not the answer.

Learn why self-love and care is the key to making peace with food, friends with your body and losing weight without dieting. Release the drama, pain, and shame of toxic relationships so you can nurture yourself with the love and food you truly crave.

In this walk through Ft. Tryon Park you'll learn:

  • Why beating up on yourself keeps you overeating and hungry
  • How self-love is the secret to bullet-proof confidence
  • Why accepting your flaws gives you the power to rise above them
  • EFT, a powerful proven stress-relief method to relax and calm you

Imagine leaving our walk feeling refreshed and excited knowing you have some fresh perspective, and a safe and supportive space to create a peaceful and harmonious relationship with food and your body. You will walk away with an action plan broken down into simple steps to changing your eating without dieting or depriving yourself. Are you ready? Let's go!

## Directions:

## SUBWAY:

Take the A train to 190th Street. Take the elevator and stairs up to Fort Washington Avenue and walk north (to your right as you come up the stairs from the station). On your right you will see a set of benches. To the left is the car's entrance to the park. We will meet by those benches. The tall stone pillars to your left in Margaret Corbin Circle mark the southern entrance to the park, and the Heather Garden is just inside.

#### BUS

Take the M4 or M98 bus north to its last stop, which will be marked either “192nd Street,” “190th Street,” “Cloisters,” or “Margaret Corbin Circle.” Please ask the bus driver if the bus goes to Fort Tryon Park. The bus will leave you at the park’s southern entrance.
