*ITP-2 What Makes Someone An Easy Victim? **
23 & 27 January 2026
[FIND US: For the Google Online MEETUP, click “going” (not just “interested”) to get an online link, or email me. For the LIVE MEETUP, Look for a furry animal toy on the table. The Myer Basement Food Court is fairly quiet at 6:30 pm every second Friday evening when we meet there. This makes talking easy and relaxed. Each time there is a different topic with 10 talking points to help with ideas. For more details see the Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1678127882281980 .
The organizer is Thor May, [email protected] . See you soon :) ]

Discussion Points
- Have you ever felt that you were an unfair victim? Was there something about you which marked you out as a likely target?
- Think of some physical qualities which might make someone less attractive as a victim.
- Think of some mental and personality qualities which might make someone less likely to become a victim.
- Minority groups and even countries can become victims. Examples? What are some factors which set up a group or a country to become victims?
- What are some of the psychological hazards which a victim - individuals, groups, companies - must overcome?
- Not all victims suffer because of the bad actions of others. They might have self-inflicted actions, personality flaws, and so on. Examples? What kind of help, if any, would you offer someone suffering in this way?
- Certain kinds of governments target certain kinds of individuals or groups. Examples. What is the best survival stratagem in situation like this? Is it worth being a hero?
- Natural disasters can strike without discrimination. However geography, climate, even building codes, can increase the likelihood of becoming a victim. How do you balance rist on matters like this? (For example, would your real estate choices be influenced by natural risks?)
- Skilled sales people are expert at recognizing true potential customers, as opposed to casual browsers. What do you think are some of the signs that a person can be persuaded to buy?
- Large parts of the Internet are “free”. What value are you actually giving the businesses which put content online? How do they use that information and when are they most successful?
