🗓️ Sabato 5 aprile vi aspettiamo a Ocean Space per una speciale visita guidata alle mostre “otras montañas, las que andan sueltas bajo el agua” [altre montagne, dissolte sotto l’acqua] e “Echos of the Sanctuary” [Echi del santuario] in compagnia delle rispettive curatrici Yina Jiménez Suriel e Louise Carver.
Yina Jiménez Suriel ci accompagnerà tra le nuove commissioni di Nadia Huggins e Tessa Mars, presentando i temi principali e le pratiche delle due artiste caraibiche.
Con Louise Carver scopriremo la collaborazione decennale tra TBA21–Academy e la fondazione giamaicana Alligator Head Foundation approfondendo le pratiche di ripristino dei coralli e il concetto di conservazione conviviale.
❗Le visite guidate si terranno in lingua inglese. Il nostro team di mediatori/trici sarà presente nello spazio per rispondere a domande anche in lingua italiana.

🗓️ On Saturday, April 5, we’re looking forward to seeing you at Ocean Space for a special guided tour of the exhibitions “otras montañas, las que andan sueltas bajo el agua” [other mountains, adrift beneath the waves] and “Echos of the Sanctuary” in the company of the respective curators Yina Jiménez Suriel and Louise Carver.
Yina Jiménez Suriel will accompany us through the new commissions by Nadia Huggins and Tessa Mars, presenting the main themes and practices of the two Caribbean artists.
With Louise Carver we will explore the ten-year collaboration between TBA21–Academy and the Jamaican Alligator Head Foundation, delving into coral restoration practices and the concept of convivial conservation.
❗ Guided tours will be held in English. Our team of mediators will also be present in the space to answer questions in Italian.
