A year-round celebration cake. An Italian bakery staple. If you combine shortbread buttery crust pastry, fresh whipped custard cream and fresh fruit with a little lemon zest, you can’t go wrong. Fruit tarts, with their vibrant colors, are always a showstopper and so refreshing. Join us for this pastry class and learn the dos and don’ts of this scrumptious dessert, pick your favorite fruit toppings and you will make your own cake to take home so that you can treat your loved ones (and proudly show off your new skills too).
While it is light and tender, it has the right amount of sweetness to enjoy anytime of the day. Join us in La Scuola with our Pastry Chef to prepare this indulgent dessert topped with summers best seasonal fruits. In this class, guests will:
- Learn about the simple, delicious, versatile dessert and basics for the best crust
- Prepare seasonal fruit toppings and decorate your cake to take home
- Learn the skills of whipping the perfect custard
- Take home an adapted recipe from the class.
Additional Information
- Restrictions: Ages 12 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.
- Physical tickets are not required, all tickets will be sent via email and be presented at the door to check-in for the class.
- All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older.
