As part of our nurturing and reflective Women’s Circle sessions, It Starts With a Letter invites participants to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and cultivate meaningful connection through the timeless practice of letter-writing.
In a world overflowing with instant messages and digital noise, this activity offers a gentle pause. Together, we’ll explore how handwritten letters, once the primary form of communication between friends, family, lovers, neighbours, and even strangers, can deepen relationships in ways technology often can’t.
Participants will be guided to reflect on how they communicate, what they share, and how intentional expression can strengthen bonds within the community and within themselves. We’ll also touch on the rich history of written correspondence and how letters from the past offer powerful insight into the lives and stories of others.
