About this Event
Step into the raw, unfiltered world of Wendy — a mother, a fighter, and a survivor. Inspired by true events, this novel takes readers on a gripping journey through the darkest days of Wendy’s life as she navigates her daughter’s suicide attempt, her own battle with cancer, and the torment of domestic violence.
Writing in a journal, Wendy fearlessly lays bare her daily struggles, revealing her deepest fears and moments of strength. When her daughter, Melissa, shocks their family with a desperate act, Wendy’s devotion is put to the test. Now, she must summon the courage to break free from an abusive marriage to protect her daughters, and find hope and happiness on her own terms.
It Happened in July is a beacon of strength for anyone facing similar struggles. Filled with raw emotion, practical advice, and invaluable lessons, this book will inspire readers to reclaim their lives and embrace their worth.
