The International Space University - USA Alumni Association’s Washington, DC Chapter is pleased to present our next monthly event! These events bring together prominent experts on space, ISU alumni, the space community, and the interested public in a casual forum that encourages interaction and discussion.

Marta Mager is the Head of Agency/Minister Counsellor – Space, Science and Technology, USA & Canada, for the New Zealand Space Agency and the New Zealand Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE). Based in Washington, D.C., she leads the agency’s policy and development efforts in the US and Canada.

Marta is focused on supporting the development and implementation of New Zealand’s bilateral space, science and technology agreements as well as R&D attraction from US and Canadian companies to New Zealand. She is forging new strategic commercial, government and institutional partnerships in priority emerging technologies areas such as space, quantum, and artificial intelligence.

Previously, Marta worked in several commercial and strategy roles for technology, consulting, and government organizations in multiple countries. She holds a dual Masters’ degree in industrial engineering and business and speaks several languages.
