Istanbul Tour17–19 December 2025
Join us on this special 3-day journey from Gazipaşa to Istanbul, exploring the magical harmony of history, culture, and modern city life right before Christmas and New Year’s. From the bridges uniting two continents to the mosques and palaces that witnessed centuries of empire, every step reveals another story of this timeless city.
Day 1 – Wednesday, 17 December
After the transfer from Alanya Gazipaşa and our morning flight (09:45) from Gazipaşa Airport to Istanbul, we’ll leave our luggage at the hotel and begin our exploration on foot.
Our walk starts in Karaköy, crossing the Galata Bridge to Eminönü, where you’ll have free time to experience the city’s local rhythm.
Try the famous balık ekmek (fish sandwich) by the waterfront or explore the Spice Bazaar, filled with the scent of exotic herbs and colorful spices. We’ll then enjoy a Bosphorus Cruise, the best way to understand Istanbul’s unique geography. This legendary strait dividing Europe and Asia has shaped empires and cultures for centuries.
Day 2 – Thursday, 18 December
Today we travel deep into Istanbul’s historic heart:
Süleymaniye Mosque – The masterpiece of architect Mimar Sinan, this 16th-century mosque crowns the city skyline with elegance and harmony.
Grand Bazaar – Over 500 years old, this vast marketplace is one of the oldest and largest covered bazaars in the world.
Sultanahmet Square – A meeting point of Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman history.
Hagia Sophia – Standing for over 1,500 years, this architectural wonder embodies the coexistence of faiths and civilizations.
Basilica Cistern – Beneath the city lies this mysterious Byzantine-era water reservoir, famous for its forest of marble columns.

Day 3 – Friday, 19 December
On our final day, we visit Dolmabahçe Palace, an opulent 19th-century residence that reflects the Ottoman Empire’s Western-inspired architecture and refined taste.
Later, we enjoy a pleasant walk through Taksim – Beyoğlu – Galata, stopping for coffee near the Galata Tower and soaking in the city’s modern and artistic vibe. In the afternoon (around 15:00), we return to the hotel for luggage pick-up and transfer to Istanbul Airport for our evening flight (18:15) back to Gazipaşa, ending our unforgettable Istanbul journey in Alanya.
