Celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, with a screening of the documentary Code Name: Ayalon (2023).
The film tells the incredible true story of 45 teenagers who secretly operated an underground bullet factory beneath a kibbutz laundry near Tel Aviv in 1947, producing ammunition vital to Israel’s War of Independence. A brief discussion with Rabbi Larry Kaplan will follow the screening. Free to the public.
