- Operational control & legal compliance
- EMS roles, responsibilities, and effectiveness
Day 2 — Occupational Health & Safety (ISO 45001)
- OH&S management principles
- Linking OH&S systems to operations and services
- Evaluations and retesting as needed
Day 3 — Auditing, Lead Auditing & Final Evaluations
- Principles, procedures, and techniques of auditing
- Conducting an effective audit in the context of the auditee’s operations
- Personal attributes for effective and efficient auditing
- Mock audit
- Leading an audit team: planning, tasking, and directing activities
- Communicating with the auditee and audit client
- Preventing and resolving conflict within the audit team or with the auditee
- Competency evaluations (no final exam; skills assessed throughout the course)
- Re‑testing as needed
- Reserved time for any overflow topics not covered earlier in the seminar
